BACKGROUND

WITH DEEP ROOTS IN FICTION


Story means everything. With a strong story, whether simple or complex, you can get creative. When working creatively, you can revolutionize the creative process. You become original; and so does your brand. From there, you can keep your audience in their seat, because they're experiencing something they haven't experienced before. I'm Kreakong's founder Christoffer Aldell and I'm all about narrative filmmaking. I fully subscribe to these values while also valuing the importance of the process. Art is a collaborative form.


I started my career as a 17-year old, making my first PR video for Scana. From there, I went on to produce a whole slew of PR and commercial projects, with clients such as Global Panel, Prague Society, Burger King, Team Sportia, Partnertech, Viasat, etc. I also started Sweden's first online streaming platform Extremecover for extreme skiing events, as well as the 46 project which was an extreme sports movement in Scandinavia. Athletes, even Olympic athletes, of various extreme sports travelled Europe with 46, shooting documentaries that were later broadcast internationally through Viasat Sport. At its peak, 46 was in full-time production for over two years, won multiple awards and had sponsors such as Salomon, Team Sportia and Burger King. Later on, I had the honor of launching Burger King TV in Sweden, which consisted of a number of 46 reels and was broadcast in all Swedish Burger King restaurants for the better part of a year. Partners of 46 also included the Swedish Ski Team Association, The Voice TV and Swedeninline. At the end of this period of time, I also studied TV/film at Kalix Folkhögskola.

I then decided to sharpen my knowledge in cinema and moved to America to study communications and directing/screenwriting at Cal State University, Fullerton and Fullerton College. I was taught directing by Bob Davis and screenwriting by Robert Engels (writer of Twin Peaks). During my five years there, I also wrote, produced, directed and edited my first feature film cockroaches (dark comedy) together with an independent American production company, which is being distributed by SF in Scandinavia upon its release in 2023.

In the spring of 2021, I decided to focus all of my experience into bringing my big passion of commercial storytelling to life and finally started my own media house. Today, Kreakong represents reliability, originality and affordability and always employs the perfect team of professionals to fit any and all project requirements.
